To smooth a wrinkle, partially drain the pool to about 12 inches below the wrinkle, use a soft brush or rubber squeegee to work the wrinkle outward toward the wall edge, then slowly refill. Heat helps; do this on a warm afternoon when the liner is supple. If the wrinkle resists, it has set and may need a liner replacement at year 8-10 anyway.

4. Heater not heating

Heat-pump units: check the refrigerant pressure (gauge on the side of the unit) and the airflow over the evaporator coil. A blocked coil or low refrigerant kills heat output. A buyer in Mount Pleasant, just south of Brantford, bought a 20ft container pool from a builder we recommended in summer 2024. Beautiful install. He texted us photos through August and September. Came November, his daughter’s hockey was running every weekend and he kept putting off the closing.
